Privacy Policy
NetWebMedia ("we", "us", "our") operates netwebmedia.com and related services. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.
1. What we collect
- Information you give us: name, email, phone, company, role, message — via forms, calls, or emails.
- Usage data: pages visited, time on site, device type, referring URL, IP address (anonymized).
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (GA4 ID: G-V71R6PD7C0) with IP anonymization enabled. No cross-site tracking.
- Cookies: session cookies for login, analytics cookies. You can decline via your browser settings.
2. How we use it
- Respond to inquiries and deliver services you request.
- Improve the site and measure marketing effectiveness.
- Send transactional emails (order confirmations, service updates) and — only if you opt in — marketing emails you can unsubscribe from at any time.
3. What we don't do
- Sell your data to third parties. Never.
- Share your contact info with affiliates without your permission.
- Track you across other websites.
4. Who we share with
Only the service providers we need to run the business: Google Analytics, Mercado Pago (payments), email delivery (for transactional messages), cloud hosting. Each has their own privacy policy and GDPR-compliant data processing agreements where applicable.
5. Data retention
Contact form submissions: 3 years unless you ask us to delete sooner. Customer records: as long as the engagement is active, plus 7 years for tax/legal record-keeping. Analytics data: 14 months (GA4 default).
6. Your rights
- Access a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your data (we'll keep only what's legally required).
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time.
- File a complaint with your local data protection authority.
7. Security
HTTPS/TLS site-wide, HSTS preloaded, bcrypt-hashed passwords, HTTP Basic Auth on admin surfaces. No payment card data stored on our servers — Mercado Pago handles all card handling.
8. CCPA / CPRA — California Privacy Rights
California residents have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).
Categories of personal information we collect:
- Identifiers: name, email address, phone number, company name, IP address (anonymized).
- Commercial information: service subscription history, payment records.
- Internet/network activity: pages visited, time on site, referring URL, device type.
- Inferences: lead scoring derived from engagement with our content.
We do not sell your personal information. However, under CPRA, sharing data with analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) for cross-context behavioral advertising may constitute "sharing" even without monetary exchange. You may opt out by declining analytics cookies in our consent banner, or by emailing privacy@netwebmedia.com.
Your CCPA/CPRA rights:
- Right to know what personal information we collect, use, or disclose.
- Right to delete your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.
To exercise any right, email privacy@netwebmedia.com with "CCPA Request" in the subject. We will respond within 45 days (extendable by 45 days for complex requests). We may verify your identity before processing. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: use the cookie consent banner on this page, or email the address above.
9. AI & Third-Party Vendor Processing
NetWebMedia uses AI tools — including Anthropic's Claude API — for internal operations, strategy, and content creation. Key disclosures:
- Client data is not used to train AI models. Data you share is used solely to deliver your contracted services.
- Vendor data processing: Third-party AI vendors (Anthropic, Google) process data under their own privacy policies and data processing agreements that restrict use to service delivery only.
- AI-generated deliverables: Content, copy, or analysis may be AI-assisted. Our team reviews all AI outputs before delivery. AI-generated content may contain errors; clients are responsible for reviewing deliverables before publishing.
- Opt-out: Clients may request all-human-authored deliverables in writing; additional fees may apply.
10. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
NetWebMedia's services are intended for businesses and individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact privacy@netwebmedia.com and we will delete it promptly.
11. Data Breach Notification
If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify affected individuals as required by applicable law. For US residents, we comply with applicable state breach notification statutes (including California Civil Code §1798.82). Notification will describe the nature of the breach, categories of information affected, and steps you can take to protect yourself. We will provide notice within the timeframe required by applicable law.
12. International Users — Chile & Brazil
Chile: This policy is designed to comply with Chile's Ley 19.628 on Protection of Private Life and the new Ley 21.719 (Data Protection Law entering into force in 2026). Chilean residents may exercise rights of access, rectification, cancellation, and opposition by contacting privacy@netwebmedia.com.
Brazil: We process personal data of Brazilian residents in accordance with the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD — Law 13.709/2018). Contact privacy@netwebmedia.com to exercise your LGPD rights.
13. Cookie Consent & Tracking
We use two categories of cookies:
- Essential cookies: required for site functionality (login sessions, security). These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies: Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel. These are optional — we do not load them until you have consented via the banner that appears on your first visit.
